“Small Gym…BIG Results”
About Casey…
A certified Personal Trainer and Strength & Conditioning Coach, I’m here to help you in two ways.
First, I want to make sure you have the best workout program that matches your current goals, your current ‘life’ schedule, and your current access to gym equipment.
Second, I want to make sure you have as much COACHING as you need to crush your goals, be consistent with your fitness among that ‘life’ schedule, and understand how to best use the equipment available to you!
I started my Personal Training career working in a commercial gym setting for over 12 years. Working with people from all walks of life - which was my favorite thing about working in a commercial gym- one thing always stood out…the workouts are half the battle, the other half is all about the strategies that help keep you consistently working towards your goals.
About The Gym…
Located in beautiful Richmond, Vermont, Purposeful Strength is a private 255 square foot personal training studio off the beaten path.
When creating this space, the main focus was to provide the necessities required to craft workouts to chase any strength and fitness goal.
As the title states, “Small Gym, BIG Results!”
Training for my first 10K as part of the Vermont Triple Crown was a rewarding challenge and key step toward my 2026 ultramarathon goal. Over five weeks, I followed a strategic 10K training plan that included MAF runs, speed intervals, hill work, and mobility-focused strength training. I also made a major shoe switch that improved comfort and performance. In this post, I share my full preparation process, training schedule, gear insights, and tips for runners tackling their first 10K. Whether you're racing in Vermont or anywhere else, this guide will help you train smarter and show up strong on race day.
