The core move my clients love

The people love core moves. Rightfully so.

A strong core helps prevent back pain.

A strong core prevents hip pain.

A strong core is a functional core.

Over the last couple months I have been programming a lot of leg lowers - and their variations- with my clients. One of the more sneaky 'any one can do it' variations is this 2 Dumbbell ISO Press Leg Lowers. The ground serves as a great brace for your abs - so even cranky backs can do this. The weight pressed up is a great way to control your shoulders but also the added weight can give your legs a heavier 'base' to work against...in a way the press helps the core! It's a great bang for your buck, and a move that I like to do for 2-3 sets of 8-12 reps, paired with a back move (like rows) or at the end of a workout.
