Who Is Purposeful Strength

At the age of 20 I went through my own weight-loss transformation. Losing 50 pounds over the course of a year, the lessons were endless.
For the first time in my life, I felt what it was like to take control of my life. The feeling of accomplishment was so rewarding that I knew I had to make health and fitness my career.
When COVID-19 struck the United States in the spring of 2020, and like many, I found myself faced with stress I had never seen before. I gained 20 pounds in 12 weeks and found myself, again, at a very unhealthy low point in my life. Taking my own coaching systems in to action, I shed the unwanted 20, but found my success as a result of a shift in lifestyle habits and actions, not just fitness.
Flash forward to present day, I am fortunate to be able to help people achieve their fitness and nutrition goals in-person as well as online. Having both a web-based and local platform throughout the Burlington, Vermont area has given me the opportunity to assess, program and train a variety of individuals who all want to take action on their health and fitness goals.

Honesty
Defined as "Free of deceit and untruthfulness", honesty is the foundation of Purposeful Strength’s communication with those within our community, both in-person and online.
Understanding
Defined as "being sympathetically aware of other people's feelings". Often overlooked, this aspect is critical for high level communication. Approaching client interaction with understanding is crucial as it relates to our mission statement.
Love
Defined as "an intense feeling of deep affection". At Purposeful Strength, we believe that love is a key emotion that helps us find a better appreciation of gratitude, self appreciation, and thus, a better state of well being.
